Welcome! I’m Laura. For years, my family and friends have encouraged me to share my love of decorating, entertaining, crafting and cooking with others. I’m hoping this can be a space to share the things that inspire me everyday.
For me, life is about connecting with family and friends. There’s no better time to throw open the door and put another seat at the table! Whether it’s wrapping a gift or indulging in a special dessert, I try to celebrate the every day with the people that mean the most to me. I live in the suburbs of Chicago with my husband and three children.
As my children have gotten a little older, I’ve come to realize that my most cherished memories are the simple ones. The rituals and small things I do to try and make their days special.
How our home smells on Saturday morning when pancakes are being made as we dance around our kitchen. What a peanut butter and sprinkles sandwich can mean to a 2nd grader that’s having a rough week. And the laughter that fills us up when we gather around our dinner table.
These truly are the moments. They are what I will carry with me long after my children are grown.
