Each year, we sit down to a special dinner as part of our St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Since no one besides my husband likes the traditional corned beef and cabbage meal, we have settled on bangers and mash over the years. I found it much easier to get my children to eat sausages over corned beef. And, mashed potatoes win over everyone right? To take it a step further still, we eliminated the cabbage and instead have sauerkraut. My grandmother’s recipe. I love that we’ve combined both of our family’s heritage in this one meal. It’s an example of how to try and hold some traditions, but to not be afraid to adapt them and made them work for your family. Well, the kids love nothing more than a festive table and a yummy treat when it comes to celebrating anything. So, here are some darling pot of gold treats to add to your St. Patrick’s Day table!

These could not be easier to put together! I found these black cauldrons at the dollar store a few years ago. They are great because they work for a witches cauldron at Halloween and a black pot of gold at St. Patrick’s Day. I bought some chocolate coins and rainbow sour gummy strips at a local sweet shop. And, just like that, we have a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! Simple, easy and lots of fun. A perfect way to elevate and celebrate something in the middle of a regular week. Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Hope you find a moment to celebrate!
